The mixed media art of Colorado artist Roberta Smith combines collage, pigmented plaster, found objects, drawing, calligraphy, gold leaf and traditional painting techniques. Inspired by the beauty of ancient frescoes and Renaissance drawings while also influenced by contemporary culture, Roberta creates images in which the timely is juxtaposed with the timeless.
